# How can I enable Two Page view?

### iPad

**Turn your device sideways** (Landscape) and Scriptation should automatically adjust to two-page view. Turn the device back to **Portrait** to return to one page.

| 💡 TIP: You can still pinch and zoom in two-page view.

If your iPad didn't automatically convert to two-page mode when turned sideways, Scriptation is set on single-page mode. Here's how to switch it back:

1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (**⋯**) at the top right, then select **Settings**;
2. In the Settings modal, go to the **General** tab;
3. Under **View Settings**, set **Page Mode** to **Automatic**.

| 💡 TIP: Want two pages all the time, even in Portrait? Set **Page Mode** to **Double** instead of **Automatic**.

|| 📝 NOTE: If your iPad still isn't adjusting to two-page view, quit Scriptation, restart your device, and re-open the app.

### Mac

The fastest way to switch is from the menu bar: go to **View → Two Pages** (keyboard shortcut: **⌘+2**).

| 💡 TIP: You can also set **Page Mode** to **Double** in the Settings modal (**three-dot menu** (**⋯**) → **Settings** → **General** tab) to keep two-page view active across all your files. See [An Overview of the Settings Menu](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-settings-menu-1v2uicm/) for the full walkthrough.

| ✅ TIP: It's not currently possible to drag and drop notes across pages. To move a note, use [Copy & Paste](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-copy-and-paste-annotations-loyn3h/).

| 📝 NOTE: Two Page view is currently the maximum spread size — there's no way to view three pages at once. In two-page mode, pages also advance as a fixed spread, so you can't shift the view over by one page (for example, to go from viewing pages 42–43 to viewing 43–44 instead). If you'd like to see either of these added, vote for [Two page mode but only advance one page at a time](https://roadmap.scriptation.com/feature-requests/p/two-page-mode-but-only-advance-one-page-at-a-time) or submit a new request for three-page view at [roadmap.scriptation.com](https://roadmap.scriptation.com/feature-requests/).
