# How can I print my script?

### Printing your script is easy and can be done directly from Scriptation.

|| 📝 NOTE: Printing with the instructions below will print **all layers**. To print individual layers, see [How do I export / share my script with just one layer?](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-do-i-export-share-my-script-with-just-one-layer-qcnb39/).

### Printing on iPad or iPhone

###### In Scriptation 6.0 and later

1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (**⋯**) at the top-right of the screen;
2. Under **Share Document**, tap **Quick Export**;

3. Select **Flatten Annotations**, then tap **Share**;
4. From the share sheet that appears, tap **Print**;

5. The **Printer Options** window appears. Select your printer, set the number of copies, and adjust options like Page Range and Color. When ready, tap **Print**.

###### In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier

1. Tap the **Share** icon on the [Top Toolbar](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-top-toolbar-i5y1y8/);
2. Select **Flatten Annotations**, then tap **Share**;
3. Tap **Print**, then adjust your print settings and tap **Print** again.

### Printing on Mac

On Mac, the Share modal has three tabs at the top — **Share**, **Export**, and **Print**. The Print tab lets you print directly from Scriptation without leaving the app.

###### In Scriptation 6.0 and later

1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (**⋯**) at the top-right of the screen;
2. Under **Share Document**, tap **Quick Export**. The Share modal opens;
3. At the top of the Share modal, tap the **Print** tab;

4. Adjust **Page Range** (default: All Pages) and **Annotations** (default: Flatten — bakes your notes into the printed pages);
5. Tap **Print**. Your Mac's print dialog opens — select your printer, copies, and any other settings, then send the job.

###### In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier

1. Click the **Share** icon on the [Top Toolbar](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-top-toolbar-i5y1y8/). The Share modal opens;
2. At the top of the Share modal, click the **Print** tab;
3. Adjust **Page Range** and **Annotations**;
4. Click **Print**, then send the job from your Mac's print dialog.

| ✅ TIP: If you'd rather print from another device, switch to the **Share** or **Export** tab at the top of the Mac Share modal to AirDrop, email, message, or save the file anywhere — then print from there.
