# How do I activate a Team Studio license?

### I've got a Team Studio License! How do I activate it across my devices?

If you have a Scriptation [Team Studio](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-team-studio-h90n6l/) license, the purchaser will have a [receipt email](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/i-just-purchased-scriptation-team-team-studio-now-what-xsdmmv/) that includes your **License Key**.

### Activating Your License

First, open the Team login on your device. The path depends on your Scriptation version:

###### In Scriptation 6.0 and later

1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (**⋯**) at the top-right and select **Settings**;
2. Go to the **Account** tab;
3. Under **Team**, tap **Log in**.

###### In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier

1. Touch or click the **File Browser** — the three-line menu (**☰**) at the top-left of the Top Toolbar;
2. At the bottom of the window, tap **Settings**;
3. Under the Industry Pro heading, tap **Team**.

###### Then, on the login pop-up

1. Select **Team Studio**;

2. Enter your **License Key** from the receipt email and tap **OK**;

|| 📝 NOTE: The License Key field is case-sensitive. Enter it exactly as it appears in your receipt email.

3. Scriptation will validate your license.

|| 📝 NOTE: You'll need to repeat this process on each device.

### Activating Studio Mode

Once your license is validated, you'll be prompted to restart the app to enable Studio Mode.

1. Tap **Close app**;

2. Re-open the app by tapping the Scriptation icon on your device;
3. Once the app has restarted, tap **Start now**.

Ta-da! Studio Mode is enabled!
