# How do I change or reset my Scriptation Enterprise password?

|| 📝 NOTE: This article applies to [Scriptation Enterprise](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-enterprise-tdmis7/) — the subscription tier for studios managing devices, permissions, and onboarding at scale. The free and [Industry Pro](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-industry-pro-1jfjecg/) consumer tiers don't include a web-based Admin Portal.

Two flows for managing your Scriptation Admin Portal password — pick the one that matches your situation.

### Resetting a forgotten password

If you don't remember your current password, use the **Forgot Password** flow from the sign-in screen.

1. Navigate to the **Enterprise Admin Portal.**

2. Enter your **Email** and click **Forgot Password?**

3. Confirm your email and click **Reset Password?**

4. Check your email for a One-Time Link to reset your password. Click **Reset Password**.

5. You'll be returned to the portal to set a new password. Enter and confirm your new password, then click **Sign in**.

Your password is now reset.

|| 📝 NOTE: After resetting, you'll still need your existing MFA code to complete sign-in. If you've lost access to your authenticator app as well, contact your Enterprise Admin (or, if you're the Enterprise Admin, contact Scriptation support through the chat widget on this help center).

### Changing a known password

If you're signed in and want to change your current password to a new one, use the **Settings** flow.

1. Sign in to the Enterprise Admin Portal.

2. Click your **User Icon** in the upper-right corner of the portal.

3. Click **Settings**.

4. Enter your **Current Password**, then enter and confirm your **New Password**.

5. Click **Change Password**.

Your new password is now active.
