### How do I deactivate my Team Studio license?

||| ⚠️ HEADS UP: Scriptation has discontinued the Team Studio plan. Current Team Studio plans will be grandfathered and remain active. Please refer to our [Team](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-team-4bxf8z/) and [Enterprise](https://scriptation.com/enterprise-secure-production-management/) plans for Team Studio features.

[Team Studio](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-team-studio-h90n6l/) licenses are purchased with a specific number of activations. Sometimes you'll need to deactivate an old or unused device in order to free up an activation for a new device.

||| ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do not delete the app. You could lose data this way.

### Deactivating Your License

###### In Scriptation 6.0 and later

1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (**⋯**) at the top-right and select **Settings**;
2. Go to the **Account** tab;
3. Under **Team**, tap **Log out**;

4. Confirm **Yes** on the pop-up that appears.

###### In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier

1. Touch or click the **File Browser** — the three-line menu (**☰**) at the top-left of the Top Toolbar;
2. At the bottom of the window, tap **Settings**;
3. In the Industry Pro section, tap **Logout Team**;

4. Confirm **Yes** on the pop-up that appears.

### Restart the App

With Studio Mode deactivated, you'll be prompted to restart the app.

1. Tap **Close app**;

2. When you reopen the app, you'll be in the free version of Scriptation.
