# How do I hide or find the Top Toolbar?

### Maximize your workspace by hiding the Top Toolbar.

You've [opened a script](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/importing-and-opening-scripts-in-scriptation-k34r8d/) and started making your notes. For a more efficient workspace, the Top Toolbar can **appear or disappear** with a tap.

For Apple Pencil users, **tap your finger** anywhere on the page (that's not an annotation) to hide the [Top Toolbar](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-top-toolbar-i5y1y8/) and Bottom Page Scrubber. The [Annotation Toolbar](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-annotation-toolbar-6jmhwg/) will remain shown if it was previously selected.

If an Apple Pencil is *not* connected, **deselect** any active Annotation tools, then **tap any empty area** of the page.

To bring the Top Toolbar and Bottom Page Scrubber back, **tap your finger** on any empty area of the page again.
