# How do I insert or import new pages?

Scriptation handles two kinds of new pages, and each has a dedicated tool:

* **Revised script pages** (blue / pink / yellow / green pages from production) → use [Collate Pages](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/transferring-notes-to-a-new-set-of-pages-the-collated-pages-process-1q0eev9/). It automatically inserts the new pages, transfers your notes, and removes the old pages — all at once.
* **Non-script pages** (storyboards, schedules, references) → use [Add Pages](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-add-and-move-pages-mcsyk8/) with **Select Source Document**.

| ✅ TIP: There's no separate "Insert New Pages" button — these are the two paths to choose from depending on what kind of pages you're adding.
