# How do I reorder layers in the layers menu?

Drag and drop your [Layers](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-are-layers-and-how-do-i-use-them-1ozes9v/) into your preferred order — handy for grouping by department, draft, or workflow, and especially useful before sharing via [Layer Export](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-share-layers-with-export-14uqv6c/) or [Live Layers](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-are-live-layers-and-how-do-i-get-set-up-1fowibn/).

1. Tap **Layers** on the Top Toolbar:

2. Tap the **3-dot menu** at the top right of the Layers sidebar, then tap **Edit**:

3. **Tap, hold, and drag** the three-line handle to the right of any Layer you want to move. Release when it's in the right place:

Reorder as many Layers as you want, then tap **OK** to return to the Layers menu:
