# How do I select annotations on Mac?

On Mac, you select annotations with your trackpad or mouse: **click once** to select, **click and drag** to move, and **right-click** (or **two-finger trackpad press**) for context options. If you've used Scriptation on iPad or iPhone, this replaces the finger or Apple Pencil tap interactions you know from those devices.

### The right-click menu

Right-click an annotation (or two-finger press on a trackpad) to open a context menu with options to:

* Change the [style](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/using-the-style-palette-1r35re7/) of the annotation with the Style Palette;
* Add an [attached note](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-can-i-use-attached-notes-uzvs60/);
* [Copy and paste](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-copy-and-paste-annotations-loyn3h/) an annotation;
* Create a [Saved Annotation](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-are-saved-annotations-and-how-do-i-use-them-1rerp7z/) from the note;
* Remove the annotation.

You can also delete annotations by selecting the note and pressing **Delete** on the keyboard.

### Selecting multiple annotations

To select multiple notes at once, use the **Selection Tool** on the Annotation Toolbar. This tool is useful when you want to [Group](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/group-and-merge-notes-with-the-selection-tool-s7qo3u/), [Merge](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-merge-layers-1k9kad7/), Move, Copy and Paste, Delete, or Resize multiple related notes.
