# How do I sync with OneDrive cloud storage?

Set up Microsoft OneDrive in Scriptation to sync your scripts and notes across iPad, iPhone, and Mac — with version-controlled saving that protects every revision.

### iPad / iPhone setup

1. Tap the **File Browser** on the Top Toolbar:

2. Tap **Add Connection**:

3. On the Add Connection pop-up, tap **OneDrive**:

4. Tap **Continue** and sign in with your OneDrive username and password:

5. The OneDrive icon now appears under **Connections** in the File Browser. To take advantage of OneDrive's version-controlled saving, [move or copy your local files](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/moving-or-copying-your-files-to-the-cloud-1i061ug/) into OneDrive.

| ✅ TIP: **Move** is limited to single files. To relocate multiple files or folders, use **Copy**.

|| 📝 NOTE: Files stored in **On My iPad** / **On My iPhone** only exist on that device and aren't synced to OneDrive.

### Mac setup

1. If it's not already installed on your Mac, download and install the OneDrive app from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/onedrive/id823766827);
2. There's no separate OneDrive sign-in inside Scriptation — your OneDrive folders are visible after clicking **Select File** from the Scriptation for Mac home screen:

3. From the Finder window, you can access all of your files and folders, including OneDrive.

|| 📝 NOTE: **Can't find OneDrive?** In the Finder window's search bar, type "OneDrive," then **click + drag** the folder to the Favorites list on the left side of the window.

||| ⚠️ DON'T FORGET: If your scripts are saved locally (Desktop, Downloads, etc.), you won't be able to access them on other devices. Move the files into OneDrive.
