# How does Scriptation work with Shot Designer?

Scriptation is fully compatible with Shot Designer. You can bring camera diagrams, shot lists, and storyboards into Scriptation either as individual photo annotations or as a multi-page PDF added via Add Pages.

There are two ways to import your camera diagrams, shot lists, and storyboards into Scriptation:

1. Take screencaps while in Shot Designer, then import into Scriptation one by one as a [photo annotation](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/inserting-photos-and-images-into-your-script-1sx43ti/) onto an existing page, or as a full-page [facing page](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-do-i-add-custom-facing-pages-images-pdfs-or-blank-pages-1827zzw/).

2. Export all of your Shot Designer diagrams as a single PDF, then use the **Select Source Document** tool within [Add Pages](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-add-and-move-pages-mcsyk8/) to insert these pages into your script.
