# I can't find some of my Annotation Tools

If a tool seems to be missing, it's usually just hidden in a fly-out menu. The [Annotation Toolbar](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-annotation-toolbar-6jmhwg/) shrinks and expands depending on your screen orientation or device.

If you **press and hold** any tool with a small **triangle** next to the icon, a fly-out menu appears with additional tools.

| ✅ TIP: Be sure to **deselect** any active tools before pressing and holding on an icon.

The icon you choose from a fly-out stays on the Toolbar until you pick a different one.
