# Is Scriptation available for Mac?

Yes! Scriptation is available for macOS in the [Mac App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/scriptation-pdf-for-film-tv/id1094587086).

Scriptation for Mac requires **macOS 13 (Ventura) or later**. Due to Apple's App Store restrictions, older versions of the app can't be provided to users on earlier macOS versions — this applies even to us as developers, since Apple doesn't allow distributing previous builds. If your Mac can't be updated past macOS 12 (Monterey) or earlier, you won't be able to install or update Scriptation until the OS is upgraded.
