# Welcome to Scriptation pricing and subscriptions

Scriptation offers four ways to use the app: a **free tier** with Core Features, **Industry Pro** for individuals, **Team** or **Team Studio** for productions, and **Enterprise** for studios and large productions. Here's a quick orientation, plus links to the specifics for each.

### Pricing tiers at a glance

* **Free (Core Features)** — Basic annotation features at no cost. Open scripts, draw, highlight, save annotations to PDFs. No subscription required. See [What is Scriptation?](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-fuj75j/) for what's included.

* **Industry Pro** — Individual subscription via the App Store. Includes Note Transfer, Lining, Auto-Highlight, Cloud Sync, and more. Available **monthly ($14.99/mo)** or **annually ($99.99/yr, \~$8.33/mo)** — the annual plan saves up to 40% compared to paying monthly. * **Team** — Production-level licenses for organizations with multiple cast and crew, sold in monthly packages of 10, 20, 40, or 80 activations at [scriptation.com/team](https://scriptation.com/team). Team is billed separately from an individual's Industry Pro subscription (not an add-on), and includes the full Industry Pro feature set plus Live Layers for real-time note sharing. ### How billing works

* **Industry Pro** is billed through your Apple ID and managed via the App Store on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
* **Team** and **Team Studio** are billed directly by Scriptation. License keys are issued at purchase.
* **Enterprise** is billed directly by Scriptation under a contracted agreement.
