# What are Saved Annotations and how do I use them?

Saved Annotations let you store [custom stamps](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-do-i-use-stamps-and-create-custom-stamps-1nd6o3b/), drawings, markings, shapes, text notes, and images for easy re-use across every script. Any annotation type can be saved.

In this example, the handwritten note "Steadicam" will be used many times. After creating the note, **touch or click** it, then choose **Save** to create a Saved Annotation. This works the same way on any drawing, shape, text note, or inserted image.

Once saved, find your Saved Annotations by **touching or clicking** the **Clipboard** icon on the Annotation Toolbar.

| ✅ TIP: If the Clipboard icon isn't visible, **touch / click and hold** the Stamp icon (when it's not active) to reveal it.

In the Saved Annotations window you have three options:

1. Touch or click an annotation to **insert** it into the current page;
2. **Paste** an annotation copied from this or another Scriptation document;
3. **Edit** to delete annotations you no longer need.
