# Why is the Share button missing?

### Where did the Share button go?

In **Scriptation 6.0**, the standalone **Share** icon was replaced by the **⋯ Menu** at the top-right of the screen. All of your sharing and export options now live there — so if you're looking for the Share button, check the Menu first.

To share or export your script:

1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (**⋯**) at the top-right of the screen;
2. Under **Share Document**, tap **Quick Export** (or another export option);
3. Set your Page Range and Annotations options, then tap **Share** to open the standard share sheet — email, AirDrop, Messages, print, save, and more.

### Still don't see sharing options? You may be on Team Studio or Enterprise

If your **Share Document** options are missing entirely (not just relocated), you're likely on a Scriptation **Team Studio or Enterprise** license, where sharing and exporting to anyone outside your production is intentionally turned off. This is one of Team Studio's security features, ensuring your files stay encrypted with AES256.

||| ⚠️ HEADS UP: Scriptation has discontinued the Team Studio plan. Current Team Studio plans will be grandfathered and remain active. Please refer to our [Team](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-scriptation-team-4bxf8z/) and [Enterprise](https://scriptation.com/enterprise-secure-production-management/) plans for Team Studio features.

To share your annotations with other team members on your same production, use [Shareable Layers](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/how-to-share-layers-with-export-14uqv6c/) or [Live Layers](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-are-live-layers-and-how-do-i-get-set-up-1fowibn/).

If you still require full Share access — to send a script outside your production, for example — have your Team Administrator contact Scriptation Support to request a unique [Team Admin](https://help.scriptation.com/en/article/what-is-team-admin-and-how-can-i-access-it-1dqrr7i/) code. While in Team Admin mode, documents are still stored with encryption, but sharing is re-enabled.

|| 📝 NOTE: Only Team Administrators (original purchasers, or those authorized by them) can request a Team Admin code.
