How do I use custom colors with Auto-Highlight?
📝 NOTE: This video shows an older user interface and some of the exact steps may have changed.
Auto-Highlight supports custom colors so you can pick any color you'd like for a character — beyond the 16 default presets.
Choosing a Custom Color
- Tap the Highlight icon on the Top Toolbar to open the Auto-Highlight sidebar;

| ✅ TIP: If the Highlight icon isn't showing in the Top Toolbar, touch or click the plus sign on the right side to show additional icons. To pin it permanently, see Customizing the Top Toolbar.
- Tap the color dot next to a character's name to display the color options;

- Tap the multi-color dot to open the custom color picker;

- Pick a color from the grid (the first tab in the picker). The other tabs are a color wheel and RGB / HSB / greyscale sliders.

- Color grid — tap the square of the color you want;
- Color wheel — tap the color you want and use the slider to adjust brightness;
- Sliders — set RGB, HSB, or greyscale values directly.
- Once your color is set, tap anywhere on the script page to apply it. Tap again to hide the Auto-Highlight sidebar.
