How do I use Favorite Folders on Mac?

To add a Favorite Folder in Scriptation for Mac, click Add in the File Browser, choose any folder on your Mac or in a cloud folder, and click Open. The folder stays pinned in the File Browser for one-click access.

📝 NOTE: Scriptation for Mac doesn't store files itself or have an in-app Connections section — it opens files from wherever they live in Finder. Favorite Folders keep your most-used local and cloud folders close at hand. See Where are my files stored on Mac?

Add a Favorite Folder

Click Add on the home screen, or with a file open, click the File Browser and then Add;

In the Finder window, navigate to your folder and click Open.

The folder appears in your Favorite Folders list, sorted alphabetically. If you later rename or delete the folder in Finder, add it again.

Add a cloud folder

Cloud folders work the same way: click Add, navigate to the cloud folder, and click Open. iCloud Drive already has a Scriptation folder in Finder — only that folder syncs with Scriptation on iPad and iPhone. Remove a Favorite Folder

Click the File Browser;

Click the ⋯ icon next to the Favorite Folder, then click Remove Shortcut.

This removes only the shortcut — the folder and its files stay in Finder. To delete the folder itself, click Show in Finder and delete it there.
