Where are my cloud storage folders on Mac?

If you use a cloud-storage provider such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or iCloud, your files appear in Scriptation for Mac through the macOS Finder. iCloud automatically includes a Scriptation sub-folder; for the other providers, install the desktop app first.

📝 NOTE: This video shows a slightly older user interface, but the instructions are still accurate.

Setting up cloud providers

If you use OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox, download and install their desktop app first. After install, a local sync folder is created and appears in a Finder window.

iCloud doesn't need a separate install — it already has a Scriptation sub-folder built into Finder.

Pinning a cloud folder to Scriptation

We recommend pinning your cloud folder so it always appears in the File Browser. From the File Browser, click Add to open a Finder window, then select the folder.

Once pinned, your cloud storage folder always appears in the file menu. You aren't limited to cloud folders — you can pin any folder you like. For the full Favorite Folders walkthrough, see How do I use Favorite Folders on Mac?.
