How do I hear my script read aloud?

To hear your script read aloud, tap the Playback icon on the Top Toolbar to open Playback Mode, then press Play. Playback Mode also handles rehearsals, self-tapes, and hands-free silent scrolling.

Playback Mode replaces what used to be three separate modes (Read, Rehearse, Record). Depending on what you're trying to do:

For a table read or hands-free silent scrolling — see What is Playback Mode? for the basics.

📝 NOTE: Playback readback is free. Rehearse, Record, and Saved Voices are Industry Pro features. If the script scrolls without sound, check that the Teleprompter preset isn't selected.
