Can I change Scriptation's language?
You can change the language Scriptation runs in on iPad, iPhone, or Mac. Both platforms also let you run Scriptation in a different language than the rest of your system, using a per-app override.
On iPad or iPhone — set Scriptation to a different language than your system
iOS lets you set a per-app language so Scriptation runs in a different language than the rest of your device.
- Open the Settings app on your iPad or iPhone;
- Scroll down and tap Apps, then Scriptation;
- Tap Language (or Preferred Language);
- Choose a language from the list — Scriptation will switch automatically.
On iPad or iPhone — change the whole system language
If you'd rather change the whole device to a new language (so every app switches together), go to Settings → General → Language & Region. See Apple's instructions for the full walkthrough.
On Mac — set Scriptation to a different language than your system
Mac lets you run Scriptation in a different language than the rest of macOS using a per-app override.
- Open System Settings (Apple menu → System Settings);
- Click General → Language & Region in the sidebar;
- Scroll down to the Applications section;
- Click the + icon, select Scriptation, then choose a language from the dropdown beside the app name;
- Restart Scriptation for the change to take effect.
To revert, return to the same Applications section, select Scriptation, and click the – icon — or pick a different language from its dropdown.
On Mac — change the whole system language
If you'd rather change the whole system to a new language (so every app switches together), see Apple's instructions for changing the Mac system language.
