How do I check my subscription status?

You can check your Scriptation subscription status in two places: in-app on the Account tab (in Scriptation 6.0 and later), or via the Apple App Store on any device.

📝 NOTE: Your App Store subscription (which controls Industry Pro) is separate from your Scriptation account (which tracks things like AI Voices usage and cloud sync). If something looks off in one place but not the other, that's usually why. See How do I sign in to my Scriptation account?

In Scriptation 6.0 and later

The quickest way to see what you're currently subscribed to:

  1. Tap the three-dot menu () at the top-right of the screen, then select Settings;
  2. Go to the Account tab;
  3. Your current Industry Pro plan and any add-ons (like AI Voices) are listed at the top under Subscriptions. Tap Upgrade next to any item to add or change it.

✅ TIP: The Account tab shows what you're currently subscribed to. For billing details — next renewal date, payment method, or billing history — use the App Store path below.

From the App Store

For full billing details, go directly to the App Store on any Apple device.

iPad / iPhone

  1. Open the App Store app;
  2. Tap your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner;
  3. Tap Subscriptions;

  1. Depending on your subscription status, Scriptation will be listed under Active or Expired. Tap the arrow to see further options.

Mac

  1. Open the App Store app;
  2. On the bottom left, click your name;
  3. On the top of the screen, click View Information;

  1. Scroll down to Manage, and where it says Subscriptions, click Manage;

  1. Scriptation will be listed under Active or Expired. Click Edit next to Scriptation to see further options.

What each status means

  • Active — your subscription is current and will renew automatically on the date shown.
  • Cancelled — you've turned off auto-renewal. Industry Pro stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then drops to the free tier.
  • Expired — the subscription has ended. To restore Industry Pro, tap Resubscribe or pick a new plan.
  • Billing Retry — Apple couldn't charge your payment method. Update your card in the App Store to keep Industry Pro active.

📝 NOTE: If your status shows Active but you're being asked to upgrade in Scriptation, see I have an Industry Pro subscription, and I'm being asked to upgrade.
