How do I enable automatic app updates?
Keep Scriptation up to date automatically by turning on Automatic Updates in your Apple ID settings. Scriptation regularly ships improvements, bug fixes, and OS-compatibility updates — running the current version means fewer issues, better performance, and compatibility with the latest iPadOS and macOS releases.
iPhone / iPad
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top of the menu.
- Tap iCloud → App Store (path may vary by iOS version — alternatively, scroll down in Settings and tap App Store directly).
- Make sure App Updates is toggled on.

Mac
- Open the App Store app.
- In the menu bar, click App Store → Settings (called Preferences on macOS 12 Monterey and earlier).
- Make sure Automatic Updates is checked.
