Inserting Photos and Images into your script

How to insert Photos and Images into your script

Maybe you have reference photos for a specific shot, or a floor plan for a set. With Scriptation, you can easily insert these images into your script.

Start by tapping the Image icon on the Annotation Toolbar.

Select Camera to take a photo, or Photo Library to choose from images already stored on your device.

NOTE: Photos taken with the in-app Camera do not save to the device's Photo Library. This is due to operating system restrictions. For photos to be saved to the Photo Library, or saved/shared outside of Scriptation, first use the device's native camera function, then import from Photo LIbrary.

Once you have selected your image, Crop it to the desired framing. When you are ready, tap Done.

With the image placed, you can now Scale your image with the bounding box, Move its position by tapping and holding the image, or attach a Note to it. You can also Copy and Paste the image, change which layer the image is on by tapping Layers, or Delete it with the trash can icon.

TIP: For Industry Pro users, tapping Save will turn your image into a Saved Annotation for ongoing use.
