Scriptation lets you change the color of any Tagging category — industry-standard or custom — and will help keep your color selections in sync with the tags already in your script.

Opening Tagging Customization

In Scriptation 6.0 and later

In 6.0, two paths lead to the same place — the Tagging tab in Settings. Pick whichever is easier from where you are:

• Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top-right of the screen, select Settings, and go to the Tagging tab;
• Or, enter Tagging Mode from the Top Toolbar and tap Customize — this also opens the Settings modal at the Tagging tab.

Changing a Category Color

You don't need to enter Edit mode to recolor a category.

1. Tap the color dot to the left of any category name;

2. Choose a new color. Once you pick a color, every item tagged in that category will be highlighted in that color.

Syncing Existing Tags to the New Color

If you've already tagged items in your script and you change that category's color, you'll see a Tagging Sync prompt asking whether to update the existing tags to match.

• Yes — updates the color of all existing tags in that category to match your new color;
• No — leaves the existing tags in their old color. A warning icon appears in your Tagging customization view until the colors are back in sync.
