Am I using the most current version? How can I update? What are the system requirements?

It's always best to be running the most current version of Scriptation, since we regularly make improvements to the app.

Apple Users

You can always check which version you are running by tapping on the File Browser.

Then on the bottom of your screen, next to Settings, the Version information is displayed.



iPhone / iPad
The current version of Scriptation is 3.9.23, and requires iOS 12.0 or later.

To update, head to the App Store, and click Update.

To enable automatic updates in the future, go to Settings, and under the Apple Id menu, make sure App Updates is ON.



Mac
The current version of Scriptation is 0.9.22, and requires macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or 10.16 (Big Sur).

NOTE: Scriptation for Mac was developed on new technology Apple made available in Catalina. Therefore, the app is not backwards compatible with earlier versions of macOS. (i.e. Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan or Yosemite.)

To update, head to the App Store, and click Update.

To enable automatic updates in the future, go to the App Store. In the Top Toolbar, click App Store, then Preferences, and make sure that Automatic Updates is checked.



Windows Users

The current version of Scriptation is 1.0.25, and requires Windows 10 v16299.0 or later.

To update, head to the Microsoft Store.

To enable automatic app updates, Select the Start screen, then select Microsoft Store. At the upper right corner, select the Account Menu (the three dots) and then select Settings. Under App updates, set Update Apps Automatically to ON.
