If you used Auto-Highlight to highlight your characters, scene headings, or scene descriptions and then transferred your annotations to a newer draft, you probably noticed that the automatic highlighting doesn't carry over. Unlike regular annotations, Auto-Highlighted annotations aren't transferrable; instead, they need to be regenerated for each new script revision to ensure that they accurately correspond to all the changes in the new draft.

After transferring, you'll have to re-toggle your auto-highlighted character, scene heading, and scene description annotations back on.
