What are the yellow notes that show after a transfer?

After a Note Transfer, you may see small transparent yellow stickies on your script. These are Changed Annotation alerts — not notes you've created.

📝 NOTE: They may look similar to Notes or Attached Notes, but they're a different (and automatic) thing — Changed Annotation alerts flag script text where you had annotations in the old draft and the surrounding text has been adjusted in the new draft.

Tap the annotated text (next to the changed annotation alert) to see what's changed between the script drafts. When you're done, tap the blue notification box to dismiss it.

A sticky note appears on every script, even new ones

If the same yellow sticky note shows up in the same spot on every script — including brand-new, unmarked ones — and tapping it doesn't dismiss it, it isn't a Changed Annotation. It's usually tied to something a watermarking or distribution program embedded in the PDF. Use the Send us an email button at the bottom of this page and attach the documents so we can inspect the PDFs.
