How do I activate a Team license?

I've got a Team License! How do I activate it across my devices?

📝 NOTE: This video shows a slightly older user interface but the instructions are still accurate.

If you have a Scriptation Team license, the purchaser should have received a receipt email that includes everything you need to activate — your License Type and License Key.

Activating Your License

First, open the Team login on your device. The path depends on your Scriptation version:

In Scriptation 6.0 and later

  1. Tap the three-dot menu () at the top-right of the Top Toolbar and select Settings;
  2. Go to the Account tab;
  3. Under Team, tap Log in.

In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier

  1. Touch or click the File Browser — the three-line menu () at the top-left of the Top Toolbar;
  2. At the bottom of the window, touch or click Settings
  3. In the Industry Pro section, touch or click Team.

Then, on the login pop-up

  1. Select your License Type from the menu;

  1. Enter your License Key from the receipt email and tap OK;

📝 NOTE: The License Key field is case-sensitive. Enter it exactly as it appears in your receipt email.

  1. Scriptation will validate your license.

📝 NOTE: You'll need to repeat this process on each device.

Team Admin Portal

As the Team purchaser, sign in to the Team Admin Portal to manage activations and invite your team. The portal login uses a dedicated Username and Password — not your email address — so if the portal isn't recognizing you, make sure you're entering the Username sent with your account rather than your email.

📝 NOTE: On a standard Team license, sharing is already enabled by default, so you won't be prompted for a separate Team Admin Code in the app — that prompt only applies to Team Studio plans. See What is Team Admin and how can I access it? for details.
