How do I change the slate format?

The Lining Toolkit can automatically generate slates in 3 popular number formats:

  • Alphabetical (American): 1, 1A, 1B, etc.;
  • Numerical (British, UK, Scandinavian): 1, 2, 3, etc.;
  • Decimal (Continental European): 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.

📝 NOTE: Lining Tools is an Industry Pro feature.

📝 NOTE: This video shows an older user interface but the instructions are still accurate.

From Settings (Scriptation 6.0+)

  1. Tap the three-dot menu (...) at the top right, then tap Settings;

  1. Tap the Annotations tab;
  2. Under Slate Numbering, tap the icon for the format you want to use.

From the Lining menu

  1. Tap Lining on the Top Toolbar:

  1. Tap the ... at the top of the window, then select Settings.

  1. Tap the icon for the format you want to use.

📝 NOTE: Changing the slate format only affects future slates — already-generated slates keep their existing format.
