COMING SOON: Lining tools are being beta tested, and will be released soon!

How do I export lining notes?

After a day on set, sharing the details of the shoot is easy with the dedicated Lining Export tool.

FIrst, tap the Lining icon.

Tap the ... on the top of the window, then select Lining Export.

Check the boxes of the scenes that you would like to export, then tap OK.

From the export window, the script pages that correspond to your selected scenes (as well as the user added pages before, within, and after those scenes) are checkmarked for export. To make edits to the selected pages, tap the black circles. When you are ready, tap Export.

TIP: Looking for all of your slates? If you have more than one page (layer) of slates, Lining Export will automatically double the script page when creating the export. All slates will appear on the export.

You'll now be prompted to give this new file a name. Tap Save.

Next, select a location to save the export, and tap Select. The export will then begin!

The report will now open in a new tab. To make adjustments to the document, including rearranging, or locking the page order, tap Edit. To share the file, tap the Page Maker icon to exit.

REMINDER: Lining Export automatically doubles script pages to display all slates. The image below shows a doubling of Scene 1.

To share the Lining Export, tap the Share icon, and tap Share.

NOTE: Lining Export only exports tramlines and annotations within Lining Layers - named Lining, Lining 2, etc. To share the annotations within all layers, Share the complete original file.
