How do I deactivate a Team license?

To free up a Team activation for another device, log out of Team on the old device under Settings → Account → Team → Log out.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do not delete the app. You could lose data this way.

Deactivating Your License

Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top-right and select Settings;
Go to the Account tab;
Under Team, tap Log out;

📝 NOTE: On Scriptation 5.1.16 or earlier, open the File Browser (☰) → Settings, then tap Logout Team in the Industry Pro section.

Confirm Yes on the pop-up that appears.

Team Studio licenses

⚠️ HEADS UP: Scriptation has discontinued the Team Studio plan. Existing Team Studio plans have been grandfathered and remain active. Productions that need advanced security, share control, or encryption should see What is Scriptation Enterprise?

Deactivating Team Studio follows the same steps, with two differences:

After tapping Log out, enter your License Key from your receipt email, then confirm Yes;
When prompted, tap Close app to restart. When you reopen Scriptation, you'll be in the free version.

📝 NOTE: Your Team Studio files stay in their own encrypted storage, so they won't appear after you log out. Log back in to Team Studio to see them again.
