How do I remove Auto-Tag Cast tags?
Auto-Tag Cast is a fast way to tag every character in every scene at once — but if you change your mind after running it, you'll want a fast way to remove it too. There isn't yet a one-click "Remove All Auto-Tags" option, but there are two solid workarounds.
Option 1: Delete from the Annotations List (Recommended)
The fastest way to remove a batch of auto-tagged Cast tags is from the Annotations list:
- Tap the Bookmark icon in the Top Toolbar to open the outline view;
- Switch to the Annotations tab;
- Swipe each Cast tag to delete it. The list updates as you go.
Option 2: Delete the Layer (If the Layer Is Only Auto-Tags)
If the Auto-Tag Cast tags are the only annotations on the layer, you can wipe them all out by deleting the layer:
- Touch or click the Layers icon in the Top Toolbar;
- Tap Add Layer to create a new blank layer — name it anything you'd like;
- Select the new layer so it becomes your active layer;
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the Layers panel, then Edit;
- Delete the layer that contains the auto-tags;
- Tap Done.
