How do I share or email my marked-up script?

📝 NOTE: This video shows an older user interface and some of the exact steps may have changed.

In Scriptation 6.0, the Share icon has been replaced by a redesigned Menu icon in the top-right corner of your Top Toolbar.

All of your export and sharing options now live in one place — so exporting a PDF of your script to email, print, or send to a collaborator is just a couple of taps away.

Sharing or Emailing your Script as a PDF

  1. Touch or click the Menu icon (the three-dot icon) in the top-right corner of the Top Toolbar;
  2. Under the Share Document section, touch or click Quick Export (the subtitle reads PDF, all layers);

  1. Touch or click Page Range to set what pages you'd like to share:

  1. When you're done, touch or click Back;
  2. Touch or click Annotations to set how the Annotations are shared:

  1. When you're done, touch or click Back;

✅ TIP: For maximum flexibility with your file, we recommend sharing with the default setting of "Embed Annotations." However, if you're looking to export your file with only specific layers visible, we recommend following the instructions here.

  1. After you've set the export job, touch or click Share:

  1. A standard iOS / Mac share dialog will be displayed with options to share, print, or save the file.
