I got a file removed or renamed notification. Do I tap Restore or Delete?

If Scriptation asks "Restore" or "Delete" when you open a cloud file, the safest option is almost always Restore — it preserves your local copy.

Scriptation shows this message when its saved copy of the file no longer matches what's in your cloud folder — for example, after the file was renamed, moved to another folder, or deleted outside Scriptation.

Which option should I select?

  • Restore — Scriptation creates a new file in your cloud folder using the exact version that was last saved locally. Your work is preserved.
  • Delete — Permanently deletes the local copy. Only choose this if you're certain a more current version of the file exists somewhere else.

After choosing either option, manually refresh your cloud folders by dragging your finger down in the File Browser. This forces a manual sync and shows the Loading Content message.

📝 NOTE: Seeing this pop-up over and over for the same file? See How do I stop the Restore/Delete pop-up from reappearing? for the fix.
