How do I restore an earlier version of my script?
If your script still exists but you need an earlier version of it — for example, after a conflicted copy, an accidental overwrite, or after the file was opened in another PDF app — Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive all keep file version history. Log in to your cloud provider on the web, find the version from before things went wrong, and restore it.
Restore an earlier version from your cloud provider
- Dropbox — restore an earlier version
- Google Drive — restore an earlier version
- OneDrive — restore an earlier version
Looking for something else?
- Your file was deleted — see I accidentally deleted my script for recovery paths via Scriptation's Recently deleted folder, provider trash, and iCloud Recently Deleted.
- Your annotations vanished after the file was opened in another PDF app — see I'm missing all my Layers — Lost Layer recovery.
- You're trying to merge a conflicted copy — see I have a conflicted copy. What do I do now?.
Still stuck?
Tap the Send us an email button at the bottom of this page. Include the name of the file, which cloud provider stores it, and roughly when the version you want existed.
