Using Drag and Drop to Annotate

Speed up your note taking with Drag and Drop

Scriptation now supports Drag and Drop, a feature where you can pick-up images and text from one app, and drag them into another.

Here's how it works:

Tap and hold on an image or text, and then without lifting that finger, use a second finger to open Scriptation. For this example, we're using drag and drop on an image.

Then release your finger with the image or text into Scriptation to create a new annotation! All possible destinations are shown with the green +.

You can also use Drag and Drop within Multi-tasking! In this example, we're dragging text to create a Text Box.

Once inserted, you can then adjust with the Style Pallete, or create Saved Annotations as needed.

NOTE: Drag and drop is only available on iOS 15 or later.
