Using Drag and Drop to Annotate

With Drag and Drop, you can pick up images and text from another app and drop them straight into Scriptation to create a new annotation.


📝 NOTE: This video shows a slightly older user interface, but the instructions are still accurate.


Here's how it works. Tap and hold an image or text, and — without lifting that finger — use a second finger to open Scriptation. In this example, we're dragging an image:



Release your finger to drop the image or text into Scriptation as a new annotation. All possible destinations are shown with a green +.




You can also use Drag and Drop while multitasking. Here, we're dragging text to create a Text Box:



Once inserted, adjust it with the Style Palette, or create Saved Annotations as needed.



📝 NOTE: Drag and Drop is available on iOS 15 or later.
