How do I submit a feature request or suggestion?

Have an idea for a new feature, a workflow improvement, or just thoughts on the app? Share them on our public Roadmap — that's where we collect, prioritize, and build user-submitted ideas, and many of Scriptation's most-used features started exactly this way.

Search before you submit

Take a moment to look through the Roadmap first. If someone has already requested your idea, upvoting the existing post is the most powerful thing you can do — it shows us how much demand there is, and you'll be notified when there's an update.

✅ TIP: One well-voted request carries far more weight than several duplicates.

Submitting a new request

If nothing matches, go ahead and create a new post. The clearest, most actionable requests usually include:

  1. The workflow problem you're trying to solve;
  2. How you currently work around it (if at all);
  3. What you'd like the feature to do.

The more context you give us, the easier it is for us to evaluate, prioritize, and build.

How feature requests shape what we build next

Your input directly informs our roadmap. We review requests regularly and weigh them — alongside upvote counts and team conversations — when deciding what to prioritize. Even a quick post or a single upvote tells us what matters most to the people using Scriptation every day.

If you're a power user who wants early access to upcoming features (and the chance to influence them before they ship), consider joining our beta program. See I'm a beta tester. How do I get started? for more information.

Getting updates on your requests

If you vote on a post using your email address, you'll automatically receive updates if/when that feature goes into development. You can also subscribe to the Changelog to stay up to date on the latest app release notes.

Don't have time to post it yourself? Just describe your idea to our support team via email, and we're happy to add it to the Roadmap on your behalf so you can still receive updates on its progress. If you'd rather add it yourself, we can also just upvote an existing post on your behalf if you let us know.

📝 NOTE: The Feature Request board is for community-submitted ideas. If you're an active beta tester, feedback you share with us directly is instead logged straight to our internal development notes — no need to also post it to the Roadmap. That said, if your suggestion is a brand-new idea rather than feedback on something already in testing, we may still ask you to post it to the Roadmap so it can be tracked and upvoted like any other request.

📝 NOTE: Running into a bug rather than missing a feature? Use the Send us an email button at the bottom of this page and we'll dig into it with you.

That's all there is to it — we read every request, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your ideas.

📝 NOTE: Some feature requests are also not currently possible, such as recognizing Dual Dialogue formatting or supporting Android/Windows devices. Even for these, we encourage upvoting the existing Roadmap posts, as strong demand can influence whether and when we revisit them.
