How do I check which Apple ID is logged into my device?

Your Apple ID controls every App Store purchase on your device — including your Scriptation Industry Pro subscription. If Industry Pro is working on one device but not on another, the most common cause is that the two devices are signed in with different Apple IDs.

📝 NOTE: In Scriptation 6.0 and later, your Scriptation account is separate from your Apple ID. The Apple ID controls App Store purchases and Industry Pro entitlement; the Scriptation account only tracks AI Voices usage.

How to check your Apple ID

On iPad or iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app on your home screen;
  2. Tap your name/photo at the very top;
  3. The email shown under your name is the Apple ID currently signed in. Scroll down to see every other device sharing this Apple ID.

To switch Apple IDs, scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out.

On Mac

  1. Open System Settings (Apple menu → System Settings);
  2. Click Apple ID at the top of the left-hand panel;
  3. The email shown at the top is the Apple ID currently signed in. Other devices sharing this Apple ID are listed below.

To switch Apple IDs, click Sign Out at the bottom right.

✅ TIP: If Industry Pro isn't activating on a device, the Apple ID signed in on that device must be the same one you used to purchase Industry Pro. Even if all devices are otherwise identical, mismatched Apple IDs are the #1 cause of "Industry Pro isn't showing up." If you need to verify which device is which, your Device ID can help.

Still not activating? Check the App Store app's Apple ID separately

It's rare, but the App Store app on your device can be signed in with a different Apple ID than your device-level Apple ID — usually the result of an older Apple ID that was never fully signed out of the App Store. Since Industry Pro entitlement is tied to whichever Apple ID purchased it through the App Store, this is worth checking if device-level Apple IDs match and Industry Pro still isn't showing up.

On iPad or iPhone

  1. Open the App Store app;
  2. Tap your profile photo in the upper-right corner;
  3. Tap your name and sign in with the pre-filled email;
  4. The email shown next to Apple Account is the one the App Store is using. If it doesn't match your device Apple ID, tap Sign Out and sign back in with the correct Apple ID.

On Mac

  1. Open the App Store app;
  2. In the bottom-left corner, click your name (or Sign In if signed out);
  3. Click Account Settings in the top right;
  4. The email shown next to Apple Account is the one the App Store is using. To switch, go to the Store menu in the top menu bar → Sign Out, then sign back in with the correct Apple ID.

After signing back in with the right Apple ID, restart Scriptation and try Restore Purchases (Settings → Account → Restore purchases). See I have an Industry Pro subscription, and I'm being asked to upgrade for the full Restore flow.
