Why isn't Scriptation working on macOS 26 (Tahoe)?

If you're seeing crashes, display issues, or features that don't look right after upgrading your Mac to macOS 26 (Tahoe), update Scriptation to the latest version from the App Store.

💡 TIP: Not sure what the latest version is? See Current Version and System Requirements.

Minimum Scriptation versions for Tahoe

If you can't update to the latest Scriptation for some reason, the minimum versions that work with macOS Tahoe are:

  • macOS 26.0 (released September 2025): Scriptation 5.1.4 or later
  • macOS 26.1 (released November 2025): Scriptation 5.1.5 or later

Versions of Scriptation earlier than 5.1.2 aren't compatible with Tahoe.

✋ Caution: If you're still on macOS 15 (Sequoia) and considering the update to Tahoe, make sure Scriptation is current first so the upgrade goes smoothly.
