To add custom Facing Pages, open the Page Manager, tap Edit → Add, choose a photo, PDF, or Library template, then tap Add as Facing Pages and Save. Use them for floor plans, diagrams, overheads, storyboards, or blocking pages opposite each script page.

Open the Page Manager

1. With your script open, tap the Page Manager icon on the Top Toolbar (if it isn't pinned there, find it in the three-dot menu (⋯));

2. Tap Edit;

3. Tap Add.

Choose your source

Photo, image, or screenshot

Tap the Photo icon, then choose Camera (take a photo and tap Use Photo) or Photo Library. Scale or crop the image, then tap Done.

PDF (e.g. a floor plan or diagram)

Tap Select Source Document, then navigate to your file and tap it. The window shows your cloud folders and files already in Scriptation (on Mac, it opens as a Finder window). If the PDF is in an email or somewhere else, import it first.

Blank or template (Reports, Shot Lists, Storyboards)

Tap Select Source Document, then under the Library heading choose Reports, Shot Lists, or Storyboards and pick a template. See How do I use Scriptation's Library? for what each offers.

Place the page(s) in your script

Choose how to add your source:

• Add — inserts the page(s) before Page 1;
• Add after Page — inserts the page(s) once, after the page you tap;
• Add as Facing Pages — inserts the page(s) before every script page in one step. Use this for blocking pages, or any blank page, template, or form you want opposite each page.

Then tap Save.

Facing Pages are inserted before each script page, so in Two-Page view they appear on the left. To show them on the right instead, see How do I put facing pages on the right of my script?
