What are Facing Pages, and how do I add them?
Facing Pages are pages you insert opposite your script pages — for storyboards, notes, overheads, reports, floor plans, or anything else you want next to each script page. Add them via the Page Manager: blanks, images, fillable reports, custom PDFs, or templates from Scriptation's Library.
How Facing Pages work
A Facing Page is inserted before each script page, displaying in front of it. When you turn on Two-Page view, Facing Pages appear to the left of each script page — perfect for keeping notes, storyboards, or floor plans visible alongside the script as you work.
If you'd rather have your Facing Pages appear on the right, see How do I put facing pages on the right of my script?.
Adding Facing Pages to your script
Facing Pages are managed inside the Page Manager — the birds-eye-view of your script.
- Tap the Page Manager icon on the Top Toolbar.

- Tap Edit.

- Tap Add.

- In the Add Page window, choose the type of Facing Page to insert. You can Select Source Document to use a file from your storage or from Scriptation's Library, pick a blank page, take a photo, or choose from a variety of templates. After making your selections, tap Add as Facing Pages.

- The selected page type is now inserted before every script page.

- Tap Save to confirm the new pages.

Customizing your Facing Pages
You can use any source as a Facing Page — images, PDFs, blanks, or Library templates. For specific walkthroughs:
