How do I insert a graphic as a custom stamp?

Using Saved Annotations, you can create a graphic in another program and save it within Scriptation as a custom stamp for use across all of your scripts.


iPad / iPhone


📝 NOTE: This video shows a slightly older user interface, but the instructions are still accurate.


  1. Open your graphic template outside of Scriptation.


✅ TIP: The image should be in .jpeg format. Use Apple Preview's export feature to change the file type if needed.


  1. Tap the Share icon, then tap Copy:



  1. Open Scriptation. Press + hold on a blank area of your script to open the long-press toolbar, then tap Paste:



  1. With the image pasted, tap Save.



  1. Your graphic is now saved. Find it by tapping the Clipboard icon on the Annotation Toolbar, then tap it to insert it on the current page.



✅ TIP: Can't find the Clipboard icon? Tap and hold the Stamp icon (when it's not active) to reveal the Clipboard.


Mac


  1. Open your graphic, image, or template outside of Scriptation.


✅ TIP: The file should be in .jpeg format. Use Apple Preview's export feature to change the file type if needed.


  1. On the Menu Bar, click Edit, then Copy.



  1. Open Scriptation. On the Menu Bar, click Edit, then Paste.



  1. With the image pasted, right-click it and select Save.



  1. Your graphic is now saved. Find it in the Clipboard icon on the Annotation Toolbar, then click it to insert it on the current page.



✅ TIP: Can't find the Clipboard icon? Tap and hold the Stamp icon (when it's not active) to reveal the Clipboard.
