How do I sync with BOX cloud storage?

NOTE: Access to cloud storage provider BOX is exclusively available for Team Studio users.

iPad / iPhone Setup

With a Team Studio license activated, begin by tapping the File Browser.

Then tap Add Connection.

On the Add Connection pop-up, tap BOX.

TIP: For security and encryption purposes BOX is the default cloud provider for Team Studio licenses. Connection to other cloud providers can be achieved by your Team Administrator contacting Scriptation Support.

Tap Continue to be directed to a separate sign in where you can log in with your BOX username and password.

In the connection wizard, enter your BOX username and password. When complete, tap Authorize.

When prompted, tap Grant Access to BOX.

From the File Browser, you will now have the BOX icon listed under the Connections heading! If access allows, we highly recommend moving or copying your local files into BOX. In doing this you automatically take advantage of BOX's version controlled saving, and are backing up your files in the safest way.

NOTE: Files that are stored On My Ipad / iPhone only exist on that device, and are not synced to BOX.

Mac Setup

If not already installed on your Macbook, download and install the BOX Drive app from Box.com.

With Scriptation for Mac, there is no additional BOX sign-on required within the app. Your BOX folders will be visible after clicking Select File from the Scriptation for Mac homescreen.

By navigating through the File Finder window, you can access all of the files and folders on your computer, including BOX.

Can't find BOX? In the File Finder window's search bar, type "BOX". Then click + drag the folder to the Favorites list on the left side of the window.

DON'T FORGET: If your scripts are saved locally (Desktop, Downloads, etc.) you will not be able to access them on other devices. The files must be moved into BOX.
