How to Delete and Reinstall Scriptation

How to perform a clean installation of Scriptation



Doing a fresh installation of Scriptation should be the last resort to resolve any ongoing issues. Below is a step by step guide for Apple devices.

iPad / iPhone


WARNING: Deleting Scriptation on iPad and iPhone will delete ALL locally stored files. Be sure to Move or Copy all files to Cloud, or Share the Local Files with yourself before proceeding.

Start by navigating to the Scriptation Logo on your home screen.



Then, tap and hold one finger over the app logo. Tap Delete App.



When prompted with the Warning Box that reminds you that all of your local data will be deleted, tap Delete.

Now, navigate to the App Store logo on your home screen.



In the search bar, type Scriptation, and on the auto-loaded keyboard, tap Search.



Then tap the Download Icon.



Scriptation will now be re-downloaded, and the Scriptation icon will once again be on your homepage.

Tap your new Scriptation Icon and you should be all set to go with your clean installation.

If you have an Industry Pro subscription, your account and cloud connections should automatically restore on their own. However, if that doesn't happen, here are instructions for Reactivating a Industry Pro Subscription, Reactivating a Team License, and Setting up Cloud Connections.

Mac


From the Finder window, navigate to the Applications list.

From there, you can find the Scriptation app. Right click (or two-finger click) on Scriptation, and click Move to Trash.



To download Scriptation, head over to the App Store.

Click the Download Icon.



If you see a dialogue box regarding operating system, that's okay! Just click Download.



When the download has completed, tap Open, and you should be all set to go with your clean installation.
