Can I transfer notes with a One Liner schedule?
Yes! While Scriptation is optimized for note-taking and Note Transfer with scripts, you can also import a PDF one-liner to take notes on it alongside your script and other production documents.
Anytime a new schedule is distributed, you can transfer all your notes forward to the new version.
Why did transfer suddenly stop working on my one-liner?
If note transfer was working on previous one-liner schedules but suddenly stops working, this is usually caused by one of the following:
- Formatting inconsistencies — Some one-liner schedules aren't formatted in a way that's optimized for Scriptation's transfer engine, even if previous versions of that same schedule were.
- A flattened PDF — If the new schedule's PDF was exported as a flattened file, none of its text will be recognizable to Scriptation, and transfer won't work at all. Learn how to check for this in What is a Flattened PDF?. If this is the case, the only fix is to request a non-flattened version from whoever originally exported the schedule.
