Does Scriptation offer a trial?
Yes. Scriptation offers two trials — a two-week free trial for Industry Pro and a 3-day trial with 30 free minutes for AI Voices — so you can take either subscription for a test drive.
The Industry Pro trial
Scriptation offers a free two-week, full-featured trial of Industry Pro. When you start the trial, you choose either a monthly or annual subscription. After the two-week trial period ends, that subscription starts automatically and you'll be charged.
Checking your trial status
To see your trial's start date, price, and what subscription will begin when the trial ends:
- On your device, open Settings;
- Tap your Apple ID at the top;
- Tap Subscriptions — all of your active and expiring trials are listed here.
Why don't I see the free trial option?
If you don't see 2-week free trial when starting a subscription, it's likely that you've already used the trial on your Apple ID. The App Store only offers one trial per Apple ID, so subsequent subscriptions start as paid.
The AI Voices trial
AI Voices — Scriptation's premium voice add-on for Playback — starts with a 3-day trial that includes 30 free minutes of listening. During the trial, you can listen with any of the premium voices at no charge.
- If you finish the 3 days without using all your minutes, you'll roll into your chosen tier at the end of the trial as planned.
- If you use all 30 minutes before the 3 days are up, you have two options:
- Wait it out — ignore the alert and your trial ends when the 3 days are up. At that point, you'll roll into whichever tier you originally signed up for.
- Tap Redeem Offer — Scriptation shows an in-app alert offering to upgrade you to Tier 2 at Tier 1's price for your first month (a first-month discount of about 50%). You can downgrade to Tier 1 anytime from your App Store subscriptions; the downgrade applies on your next renewal.
