I purchased Industry Pro. How do I activate it on all of my devices?

As long as your devices are signed in with the same Apple ID, all of them should have Industry Pro features unlocked automatically. This applies across iPhone, iPad, and Mac — simply install Scriptation and sign in with the same Apple ID used for your purchase. If a device doesn't pick up your subscription on its own, you can fix it with Restore Purchases.

📝 NOTE: Scriptation doesn't have its own separate login. There's nothing to sign into on a website or browser — your subscription lives entirely on-device, tied to whichever Apple ID made the purchase.

Restoring Purchases

In Scriptation 6.0 and later

  1. Tap the three-dot menu () at the top-right of the screen and select Settings;
  2. Go to the Account tab;
  3. Under Subscription Actions, tap Restore purchases.

In Scriptation 5.1.16 and earlier

  1. Open the File Browser (☰) at the upper left;
  2. Tap Upgrade;
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the subscription window and tap Restore Purchases.

Restore Purchases links your Industry Pro access across every device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Family Sharing

If you have Scriptation Industry Pro and don't want to change the Apple ID on your other devices, you can use one license within an Apple Family Share. See Does Scriptation work with Apple Family Sharing? for the walkthrough.

Devices signed in with different Apple IDs

If your devices show different user IDs and can't share the subscription, they're likely signed in with different Apple IDs. The Apple ID that purchased the subscription is the one you'll need signed in on each device to activate Industry Pro. If you'd rather keep your devices on separate Apple IDs, use the Family Sharing workaround above instead — add your other Apple ID as a "family member" in your personal Apple Family Sharing group so it can access your Industry Pro subscription.

Still having trouble?

A few things to check if Restore Purchases doesn't fix the issue:

If none of those resolve it, message us through the chat widget at help.scriptation.com and we'll help you sort it out. If Restore Purchases still fails after all these checks, it's usually an "Invalid Receipt" hiccup — reply to us with the User ID and Device ID from the Account tab on the affected device and we'll dig in from our end.

Syncing files across devices

Activating Industry Pro unlocks the same features on every device, but it doesn't automatically sync your files between them. To keep your files up to date across all your devices, use a cloud storage connection — see How to sync files across devices with cloud storage.
