Does Scriptation offer phone support?
Scriptation provides customer support through email only — phone support isn't part of our support model. Whether you're hoping to talk to someone, hop on a call, or get help by phone, the answer is the same: our team handles everything by email and through this help desk.
Email gives us the time and space to research your specific situation, send screenshots, link to documentation, and bring in the right teammate when needed. We've found this works well for the kinds of detailed, technical questions filmmakers tend to have — and it leaves a written record both of us can reference later.
How to get the fastest, most useful response
When you reach out via the Send us an email button at the bottom of any help desk page, sharing a few details up front helps us land on the right answer quickly:
- Your User ID and Device ID (see How do I find my IDs for support?);
- The device and OS version you're using;
- The version of Scriptation you're on;
- A short description of what you're trying to do or what's going wrong;
- A screenshot or screen recording if a visual would help.
The more context you give us, the faster we can get you to a real answer.
Response times
We aim to respond within 24 hours during our office hours — Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific Time. Outside those hours, we'll get back to you on the next business day.
